West Bengal SSC Group D Result 2010 Published

West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released the Preliminary Screening Examination results 2010 for the post of clerks and group D staff online at official website http://www.westbengalssc.com/.

The commission has conducted the exam under first reginol level selection test on 22 Aug 2010 for clerks and 29 Aug 2010 for Group D staff in Non-Govt Aided Schools.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) ASI has issued Duplicate Admit Card for Written Test for the post of ASI (Executive) in CSIF. SSC Admit Card Download for ASI in CISF Written Test.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the written test for recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Executive in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on 29 August 2010.

SSC Junior Engineers Exam 2010 Results

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced Junior Engineers (Civil & Electrical) Exam Results 2010. Competitive Exam was conducted by Staff Selection Commission for recruitment of Junior on 21st March, 2010 on all India basis. SS Junior Engineers Exam Results announced on the official website http://ssc.nic.in/SSC.html/. Candidates qualified in the written exam were called for Interview / Personality Tests.

  3. For Air Force Academy : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1989 and not later than 1st January 1993 only are eligible.
  4. For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Course for Men) : Male candidates (Unmarried or Married) born not earlier than 2nd January, 1987 and not later than 1st January 1993 only are eligible.
  5. For Officers Training Academy - SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course :  (a) Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divercees (in possession of diveorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd January, 1987 and not later than 1st January, 1993.
(B) Educational Qualifications:
  1. For Indian Millitary Academy and Officers' Training Academy : Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
  2. For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics ) or Bachelor of Engineering.
  3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering
  4. Candidates who are studying in final year Degree Course and yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the Examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination or equivalent examination by the specified dates.
(C) Physical Standards: candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2011 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

2. The interviews of the eligible candidates who are working on the posts of JBT Teacher as guest teachers and impleaded as petitioners and also applied against Advt. No. 4/2009, Category No. 01 have already been conducted in compliance of interim orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in SLP No. 9247 of 2010-Gopal Singh & ors and other connected petitions after due publication of public notices dated 26.8.2010 & 30.8.2010 in various newspapers. However, result of such candidates is not required to be declared unless directed by the Hon’ble Apex Court. The above said result will further be subject to the final decision of Hon’ble Apex Court in the aforesaid SLPs.
3. The allocation of Districts to the selected candidates will be made by the Primary Education Department, Haryana keeping in view the options of the candidates and the availability of vacancies in the Districts.

HOW TO APPLY :
Applications must be submitted by post only in the prescribed format( Annexure-I ) . For detailed instructions relating to the application form and how the application is to be submitted, Annexure – II, for postal applications, may be referred to.
Preference
A candidate will be required to indicate in the application form for the Examination, the order of preference for the posts of Junior Translators(CSOLs) and Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices).

ADMISSION TO THE EXAMINATION:

All candidates who apply in response to this advertisement by the CLOSING DATE will be assigned Roll numbers. These will be communicated to them or placed on the website of the concerned Regional Office at least two weeks before the date of the examination. A candidate must write his/her Roll number along with his/her name, date of birth and name of the examination while addressing any communication to the Commission. Communication from the candidate not furnishing these particulars shall not be entertained. Admission Certificates (ACs) for the Examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination for each candidate will be issued to all applicants about two weeks before the date of examination. IF ANY CANDIDATE DOES NOT RECEIVE ADMISSION CERTIFICATE FOR THE EXAMINATION ONE WEEK BEFORE THE DATE OF EXAMINATION, HE/SHE MUST IMMEDIATELY CONTACT THE CONCERNED REGIONAL/SUB REGIONAL OFFICE (S) OF THE COMMISSION WITH PROOF OF HAVING SUBMITTED HIS/HER APPLICATION. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Translators(CSOLs)/Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices) . The Examination will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview
.
2. The Commission will not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications for the eligibility and other aspects at the time of written examination and, therefore, the application is accepted only provisionally. The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible before applying. Copies of supporting documents, however, should be sent along with the application. When scrutiny is undertaken, if any claim made in the application is not found substantiated, the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled and the Commission’s decision shall be final.
3. CANDIDATES IN THEIR OWN INTEREST ARE ADVISED TO GO THROUGH THE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE AND ALSO AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE OF THECOMMISSION: http://ssc.nic.in CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING.
4. Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PH/EXS must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the Notice .Theyshould also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format in support oftheir claim at the time of application.
5. Candidates with visual disability of 40% and more only would be considered as VISUALLY HANDICAPPED (VH) and entitled to reservation for VH.
6. Central Government civilian employees/servants claiming age relaxation should submit a certificate in the prescribed format from their office in respect of the length of continuous service which should be for not less than three years in the immediate period preceding the closing date for receipt of application. They should continue to have the status of Central Government civilian servants/employees from the day of application till the time of appointment, in the event of their selection.

Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex- Servicemen eligible for reservation.

9. Only a single application will be entertained. Candidature in respect of multiple applications will be summarily rejected.

Eligibility Conditions:
  • Age : Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 Jul 1986 to 01 Jan 1992; both dates inclusive)
  • Educational Qualifications : Any of the following (a) A Science Graduate with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university (b) BE/B.Tech. with min. 60% marks in aggregate in any discipline (c) Scince Graduate (Physcis & Mathematics) from a recognised university holding NCC Naval Wing , Senior Div.
