Junior Engineer(CIVIL & ELECTRICAL),2010 Declaration of Result of Non-Qualified Candidates.
STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL & ELECTRICAL) EXAMINATION- 2010 MARKS OF NON-QUALIFIED CANDIDATES
The Staff Selection Commission conducted an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) Examination, 2010 on 21.03.2010 on all India basis. Against 59647 registered candidates, 36700 candidates appeared in the said examination.
2. The category-wise cut-off fixed by the Commission in Paper-I for evaluation of Paper-II was as under:

4. The marks (Paper-wise) of the candidates who have not qualified for the Interview, have been uploaded on SSC’s Website. A candidate can ascertain his/her marks through the website by entering their Roll No. In case of any problem, a reference enclosing a copy of the Admission Certificate may be made to Under Secretary (C.I), SSC, New Delhi for getting the marks. The marks in respect of the candidates short-listed for Interview have not been placed on the Website as per Commission’s policy of not disclosing the marks of candidates qualifying for the next stage.
5. The particulars of the candidates appearing on the website are based on the
coding(blackening the corresponding rectangles in pencil) of their particulars by the candidates on the first page of OMR Answer Sheet. Candidates had already been cautioned through instructions given in the front page of OMR sheet that “ Answer Book not bearing candidate’s Name, Roll No. & Ticket No. will not be evaluated and such candidate would be awarded “ZERO” marks”. “ Please ensure that you have written and coded your particulars correctly to avoid rejection. Further, Note-II under Para-20 of the Notice for the Examination also cautioned the candidate that “Candidate should note that answer sheets (either OMR answer sheets or Conventional Answer Sheets) not bearing Candidate’s, Roll Number, Signature, Ticket Number, Test Form Number (in addition to blackening of the relevant rectangle as per instructions given to the candidates) will not be evaluated and such candidates would be awarded “ZERO” mark. In other words, wrong coding or no coding leads to no evaluation”. Accordingly, the OMR sheets of the candidates whose scripts were without their signature or who have wrongly coded their particulars on first page of OMR Answer Sheet, have been rejected and awarded zero marks. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her roll number, he/she must bring it to the notice of the respective Regional Office of the Commission immediately.
6. Nature of mistakes/discrepancies committed by the candidates has been indicated in code against the column ‘Discrepancy’ of the respective candidates which are as under:

6. The OMR sheets (Paper-I) have been scanned and evaluated by computer and marks of the candidates have been generated through computer after thorough checking and verification and are 100% error free. Further, the evaluated scripts of Paper-II by the examiners have also been re-checked/verified thoroughly. No representations regarding re-evaluation of Answer sheets, re-totaling of marks, etc will be entertained by the Commis
