ADMISSION NOTICE
Students willing to take admission to different Courses of Undergraduate Studies may fill up admission form free of Cost through online. Online submission will start tentatively from 24/05/2010 at 10 a.m.
This year admission process to the First year U.G. Courses of studies in S.A. Jaipuria College shall be started for the Academic Session 2010-2011 after publication of the result of H.S., CBSE, ISC Examination. However, the students shall be admitted on and from the 21st June, 2010 as per the following schedule:

Publication of 1st Merit List	16 th June, 2010, 6 PM
Start of Admisison Process	21 st June, 2010 onwards [Morning - 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m], [Day - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m], [Evening - 3 p.m. to 5 p.m]
Last date of Completion of Admission Process	31st July, 2010
Last date of Change of Subjects / Stream	31st August, 2010
Last date of submission of Registration form (without Late fine) & (with Late fine)	17th September, 2010 24th September, 2010

Candidates who passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent in 2007 and onwards are eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of the different Courses of Studies provided he / she has also passed in English having full marks of not being less than 100, subject to fulfillment of other conditions as laid down in the University of Calcutta Notification No. C.S.R/54/09 dated 24-11-2009, available from the Sales Counter of Calcutta University at 87/1, College Street, Kolkata – 73 and also available at the Website (www. Caluniv.ac.in) of this University.
For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks, obtained at the pre-qualifying examination, shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in order of marks , secured by a candidate. However, marks in Compulsory Environmental Education / studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks (If the subject “Environmental Science” is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks)
First year Undergraduate Degree classes shall commence not later than 7th July, 2010.
All other information regarding admission as well as forms of admission issued by S.A. Jaipuria College will be available on line. Answers to all queries regarding cut-off marks, total no of seats etc will be posted on the College Website only. It may also be noted that admission will be mainly on-line, though after the completion of on-line admission, it may be held manually for one / two day / days only.
Students should apply for BSc(Bio) and Bsc(Pure) General Course directly to the college office on and from 21st June 2010.
