For Constable General, Constable Driver, Constable Horse Rider and Constable Band in District Police and CID (CB/IB) GRP/ACB, qualification required is 10th pass. For Constable Operator, qualification required is Higher Secondary with physics and Math.
For Constable General, Constable Driver and Constable Band in RAC/MBC battalion, qualification required is 8th pass.
Application fee is Rs. 200 (Rs. 150 for SC/ST). Fee should be submitted through IPO. Cash, Bank Draft/ DD, cheque or any other mode will not be accepted. Selection process includes written test, physical measurement, proficient Test, physical efficiency test and Medical Test. Written test date and venue will be sent to candidates by post.
