Gautam Budh Technical University (GBTU) Published B.Tech & B.Tech(Ag.) Stream On Campus Online Seat Allotment Result 2010.
With a view to ensure transperancy in admission procedure in different Engineering Colleges affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and for the convenience of distant residents of State of Uttar Pradesh. Government of Uttar Pradesh in Technical Education Department had directed vide its D.O. letter no. 5IZ6/PSL/2003 dated: November 27, 2003 to make arrangement for
1.Computrised result declaration of entrance examination
2.On-line-counselling at different places in State
The Government of Uttar Pradesh had also taken decision to the then UPSEAT-Cell which was looking after admission to different courses of engineering and technology in colleges affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow and to conduct the entrance examination for these degree level engineering institutions by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow vide G.O. No. 4513/2003-XVI-I-10(1)/2001, dated: December 3, 2003. The responsibility to conduct the entrance examination (UPMCAT) for admission to different management courses (MBA, MCA and Hotel Management) in Universities, private institutions and affiliated colleges was also given to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow vide G.O. No. 4484/2003-XVI-1-15(5)/2003, dated: December 2, 2003 of Uttar Pradesh Government.
Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow has taken up the responsibilities and has conducted an entrance examination SEE-UPTU-2010 through which the admission to U.G. classes in State funded/Aided Engg. Colleges and private Engineering institutions affiliated to U.P. Technical University as well as admission to MBA and MCA courses of colleges affiliated to U.P. Technical University and several other universities are slated to be made.
Based on merit/ranks in SEE-UPTU-2010, the centralized counselling will be conducted on-line through Internet in two phases. In Phase-I, which will be off-campus on-line, the candidates can exercise their choices at place of their convenience to know about indicative choice allotment at frequent intervals. Phase-II will be on-campus on-line, where eligible candidates will be required to report at prespecified counselling centres for registration and final choice submission.
The counselling will be conducted on different 12 counselling centres on NIC net as per orders of U.P. Government. The constitution of admission board has been recommended to state government which to have eye on the counselling of candidates and it is to decise the admissions. In case of any dispute arising out of the counselling’s process at any stage upto final allocation of institutions and branch of institutions and branch or institution alone, the decision of Admission Board will be final.
