Filling up of the post of Assistant Director in the Narcotics Control Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs on deputation basis:

* Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs.6600/- (Revised).
* Age: Max 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Eligibility:
The Recruitment Rules for the post of Assistant Director in the Narcotics Control Bureau provide for deputation of officers under the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territories:
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with 5 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.8,000-13,500 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or
(iii) with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto or a regular basis in posts in the scale of Rs.7500-12,000 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and
Qualification:
(i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) Five years’ experience in enforcement of regulatory laws/investigation of criminal and economic offenses and collection of intelligence relating thereto.
