M TECH Admissions 2010-11
1) Reporting for admission :
All candidates should report at 9:30 A.M in respective department for the admission on the date mentioned in the schedule.
2) Mark sheets, certificates to be produced :
All candidates should produce following documents in original for verification at the time of admission.
• Pre final – V and VI semester Mark sheets
• Final year qualifying examination – VII and VIII semester Mark sheets. For candidates whose final year qualifying examination results yet to be declared should produce a letter from the Head of the Institute that he/she has appeared in full of the final year examination. For such candidates the offered admission will be provisional. The said admission will be confirmed only when the candidates submit the passing certificate and the mark sheet of the qualified degree examination.
• Certificate of Indian Nationality.
• GATE Score Card (For GATE candidates)
The candidate who has secured admission elsewhere should produce the letter from the concern Head of the Institute or paid fees receipt. If admission is offered, the candidate should submit the original GATE Score card to the respective department on or before July 12, 2010.
• Caste certificate and Caste validity Certificate (For Reserved Categories)
• Sponsorship Letter from the sponsor. (For Sponsored candidates).
• Two passport size photographs.
• Character certificate from the previous institute attended.
3) Mode of Payment of fees :
• Demand Draft in favour of “Director, VJTI, Mumbai-400 019.”
• The candidates interested in taking admission under self supporting program should bring two demand drafts
- Rs. 23,515/- and Rs. 25,000/- for GATE candidates.
- Rs. 28,515/- and Rs. 20,000/- for Non GATE candidates.
- Rs. 38,415/- and Rs. 10,100/- for Sponsored candidates.
• If the admission is offered the total fees should be paid on the same day. If the candidate fails to pay the fees on the same day, the offer of admission stands withdrawn.
