Students having passed +2 may apply for any or as many courses of their choice indicated below provided they fulfill the eligibility requirements:
* B.A. (Honours courses) – English, Political Science, Sociology & B.A. General.
(for both boys & girls)
* B.Sc. (Honours courses) – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Microbiology. (for both boys & girls)
* B.Sc. Major : Mass Communication and Videography (MCV). (for both boys & girls)
* B.Com. – (Honours course). (Morning for boys only).
* B.Com. – (Honours course). (Evening for both boys & girls).
* B.B.A. – (Honours course). (for both boys & girls)
Note:Students not having the required marks for applying, will not be able to apply ONLINE. Special arrangement is made in college, for Category II and III only, with necessary permission from the Principal / Vice Principal.
* M.Sc. – Biotechnology (5 year integrated after +2). (for both boys & girls)
CATEGORIES OF ADMISSIONS
CATEGORY I: GENERAL, selected on merit.
CATEGORY II: Catholics, and other Christians, SC, ST, OBC (non creamy layer), Financially Challenged, Physically Challenged (differently abled) .
CATEGORY III: Outstanding sports persons and NCC cadets.
CATEGORY IV: Sons and daughters of Alumini/ae with long standing record of service to the college & society, Defense personnel etc.
The following schedule is applicable for ISC / CBSE board candidates only. Separate notification will be issued for WBHS and boards other than ISC / CBSE after the publication of W. Bengal Plus-II board results.
Applicants of Category II, in case they run short of the minimum required marks for applying, are to meet as per the following instructions :
