ISAT 2010 Counselling on 15th and 16th June 2010
Two rank lists have been generated, referred to as the primary list(PL) and additional rank lists(AL). The first counselling (on 15th and 16th June, 2010) will be done using the primary rank list. The additional rank list will be operated if the above seats are not filled from the primary rank list. Please watch our website for further details after 17th June, 2010. In case the seats are not filled from primary and additional rank lists, further rank lists will be generated.

Please note the following:
1. The ISAT 2010 counselling will be held at Thiruvananthapuram on 15th and 16th June 2010.
2. The number of candidates called for ISAT 2010 counselling are more than the actual seats. An invitation to ISAT 2010 counselling therefore does not guarantee a seat to any candidate for any course.
3. Actual admission will be based on personal appearance and verification of documents.
Eligibility for counselling:
* Minimum Percentage of Marks in Class 10 or equivalent examination
Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must have at least 70% in all subjects combined and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60%.
* Minimum Percentage of Marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination
Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must have at least 70% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60%.

Location: The venue is located 4 km from Central railway Station and Central Bus Station and 7 km from the Airport.
Counselling date:
15th June 2010 – Counselling for SC/ST/PD/OBC category candidates.
16th June 2010 – Counselling for GEN category candidates.
Counselling Timings:
On First day 15th June 2010
0800 hrs All SC/ST/PD and OBC Candidates to report at the registration desk at Mascot Hotel
0800 hrs – 0900 hrs Registration for SC/ST/PD candidates
0900 hrs – 0915 hrs Introductory session and presentations by IIST
0930 hrs- 1230 hrs Counselling for SC/ST /PD candidates. OBC certificate verification will be done parallely.
1230 hrs -1330 hrs Lunch break
1330 hrs- 1400 hrs Registration for OBC candidates
1400 hrs- 1700 hrs Counselling for OBC candidates
On Second day 16th June 2010
0800 hrs All GEN Candidates to report at the registration desk at Mascot Hotel
0800 hrs – 0900 hrs Registration for GEN Candidates
0900 hrs – 0915 hrs Introductory session and presentations by IIST
0930 hrs – 1230 hrs Counselling for GEN candidates.(Morning Session)
1230 hrs – 1330 hrs Lunch break
1330 hrs – 1700 hrs Counselling for GEN candidates.(Afternoon session)
Documents to be produced at the time of Counselling:
1. Original 10th Standard Pass Certificate for proof of age and Orginal 10th Standard Marks list for the eligiblity.
2. Original 12th Standard Mark list and Pass Certificate [Qualifying examination]
3. All reserved category candidates need to produce the relevant category certificate . For OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates certificate in the prescribed format [format attached] needs to be produced.
4. Minimum Percentage of Marks in Class 10 or equivalent examination
Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must have at least 70% in all subjects combined and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60%.
5. Minimum Percentage of Marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination
Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must have at least 70% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60%.
General Instructions:
* All candidates are advised to reach Thiruvananthapuram on the previous day itself so as to avoid delays and to arrive at the venue in time for Registration. Reporting for counselling will close positively by 0900 hrs on 15th and 16th June 2010.
* Each candidate must be accompanied by at least one parent. Personal appearance of the candidate and parent is absolutely essential for counselling.
* The bond format is available in the web site. Candidates and parents are advised to go through it thoroughly. The printed format will be supplied to all admitted candidates at the end of counselling on payment of Rs 100/-. Candidates are required to submit the bond at the time of Admission.
* OBC candidates should produce necessary documents to prove their non-creamy layer status. They must download the “Declaration regarding non-creamy layer status of parents in respect of OBC Candidates” and bring the filled up form duly signed to the venue of counselling.
* Accommodation and transportation should be arranged by the candidates themselves.
* A list of hotels with contact phone numbers are attached for assistance. For actual tariff and other details, candidates are advised to contact the hotels directly.
