Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India is inviting applications from highly meritorious and brilliant candidates for the award of Rajat Jayanti Science Sancharak Fellowships for the year 2010. These are full time fellowships and intended to promote encourage candidates to pursue higher education in various disciplines.
Candidates pursuing Higher degree in following disciplines are eligible to apply for these fellowships
* Sciences
* Engineering
* Medical Sciences
* Agriculture
* Information Technology
* Mass Communication
Other Conditions:
These fellowships are valid for one year only. Fellowship amount is Rs. 12000 per month for PG courses and Rs. 16000 per month for Ph.D. candidates. Apart from these candidates will also get annual contingency of Rs. 30000 and Travel allowance of Rs. 15000. Mentors will get Rs. 20000 in a year. Candidates should have enrolled in respective courses.
Candidates will be selected based on Interview by committee of experts and decision of Department of Science and Technology.
